Tania holds experience designing graphics for print and digital platforms through web design and is knowledgeable of inspecting and writing HTML/CSS. She often enjoys working on project involving visualizing data and crafting infographics for digital and editorial platforms and curating assets for businesses and growing organizations. She is currently designing posts for impact and is currently seeking full-time work.
Through her design process, Tania like to examine the scope of the project and the information she is working with in order to come up with a visually strategic solution. This may consist of a variety of sketches and notes and have found this method to work the best for me, followed by then bringing items in digitally leading to eventually carefully tweaking and perfecting for the final outcome. Tania is someone who has learned to appreciate feedback and roll through the punches of everyday life. Her design style has been described by others as orderly, clean, playful, yet sophisticated, and layered with intention. Tania wasn’t always a designer, as she was heavily painting and illustrating for most of high school. However design has led her to have a deep appreciation for different styles of art and movements in design than respond to the world and events around them. While trends may come and go, they hold a timestamp of the era in which they existed. Tania is driven to continue her growth and learning and staying on track with current design trends and striving to utilize best practices in all areas of her design work. During her free time, she still enjoys painting with acrylics, watercolors, drawing in her sketchbook with Micron Pens, Posca markers, or drawing digitally in Procreate.
In college, Tania acquired a business minor to compliment her growing knowledge of design. She was frequently working with numbers through calculating mortgage payments, reading balance sheets, learning about stocks, and more so working in pixels and exporting for retina is manageable. However, this niche has brought her to crafting mission statements, exploring consumer demographics, understand pricing, integrate design into business strategy and promotion, and working with data spreadsheets in Excel and R Studio.
